TOLC types and minimum thresholds

Description of TOLC types

The TOLCs used for our University's study programs are:

• English TOLC-E: 36 questions (whereof 13 of logic, 10 of reading comprehension, 13 of mathematics), with a duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes;
• TOLC-E: 36 questions (whereof 13 on logic, 10 on text comprehension, 13 on mathematics) and 30 questions on the English language, with a duration of 1 hour and 45 minutes;
• TOLC-SU: 50 questions (whereof 30 of text comprehension and knowledge of the Italian language, 10 of knowledge and skills acquired during studies, 10 of logical reasoning) and 30 questions of the English language, with a duration of 1 hour 55 minutes.
• TOLC-SPS (not provided by UniMC): 40 questions (10 on text comprehension, 15 on acquired knowledge, 15 on reasoning and mathematical language) and 30 English language questions with a duration of 1 hour and 45 minutes.

• International, European and Comparative Legal Studies - IECoLS (L-14):
  minimum threshold for the Reading comprehension section: 5/10;
  minimum threshold for the Logic section: 3/13.

TOLC-E

• Data analysis per le Scienze Sociali (L-41)
  minimum threshold for the Logic section: 2,25/13;
  minimum threshold for the Mathematics section: 2,25/13;
  minimum threshold for the Text comprehension section: 3,75/10.
• Economia e Management (L-18):
  minimum threshold for the Logic section: 2,25/13;
  minimum threshold for the Mathematics section: 2,25/13;
  minimum threshold for the Text comprehension section: 3,75/10.
• Economia e Marketing per la Sostenibilità (L-33):
  minimum threshold for the Logic section: 2,25/13;
  minimum threshold for the Mathematics section: 2,25/13;
  minimum threshold for the Text comprehension section: 3,75/10.

TOLC-SU

• Beni culturali e turismo (L-1&L-15):
  minimum threshold: 15/50 (the English language section is not considered).
• Filosofia (L-5):
  minimum threshold only for the section of text comprehension and knowledge of the Italian language: 13/30.
• Giurisprudenza (LMG/01):
  minimum threshold: 16/50 (the English language section is not considered).
• Lettere (L-10):
  minimum threshold only for the section of text comprehension and knowledge of the Italian language: 13/30.
• Lingue e culture straniere occidentali e orientali (L-11):
  minimum threshold only for the section  text comprehension and knowledge of the Italian language’: 13/30.
• Mediazione linguistica per l'impresa internazionale e i media digitali (L-12):
  minimum threshold only for the section of text comprehension and knowledge of the Italian language: 13/30.
• Scienze della comunicazione (L-20):
  minimum threshold: 16/50 (the English language section is not considered).
• Scienze dell’educazione e della formazione (L-19):
  minimum threshold: 15/50 (the English language section is not considered).
• Scienze per i servizi giuridici (L-14):
  minimum threshold: 16/50 (the English language section is not considered).
• Scienze politiche e relazioni internazionali (L-36):
  minimum threshold: 16/50 (the English language section is not considered).
  ATTENTION: to evaluate the initial preparation of those who intend to enrol in L-36, TOLC-SPS tests taken at other universities are also considered valid since UniMC does not provide them; the minimum threshold is 13/40 (the English section is not considered).
• Teorie, culture e tecniche per il servizio sociale (L-39):
  minimum threshold: 16/50 (the English language section is not considered).

TOLC-SPS (taken at other universities, since UniMC does not provide them)

• Scienze politiche e relazioni internazionali (L-36):
  minimum threshold 13/40 (the English section is not considered).
  ATTENTION: to evaluate the initial preparation of those who intend to enrol in L-36, the TOLC-SU is also considered valid; the minimum threshold is 16/50 (the English section is not considered).
